Family Festival

Families are always welcome at Melbourne and each year, within the Art & Architecture Trail we have a special Family Trail for the young and the young at heart. Our theme this year is HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS looking out some of the interesting buildings in Melbourne. Highlights include our Children’s gardens at Melbourne Rectory where you can play a game of giant chess or enjoy a perfect picnic and much more. Each afternoon children can sing and dance at Music Time and join us for a story time on the Rectory Lawn.

The Family Trail and lots of activities for families are included with your wristband & Trail Guide.

We also have “STORY STOPS” where young visitors can have 5 minutes rest and read a book outside Melbourne Methodist Church in Church Street, in The Rectory Garden overlooking Melbourne Pool and Book House Garden in Penn Lane.
